Level Up Your Coffee Training: Virtual Workshop for Coffee Educators

First, we’ll focus on hard skills—how to build a thoughtful and flexible training program. You’ll learn how to structure curriculum through clear, modular design and develop a framework that supports both new learners and seasoned baristas.

Next, we will learn those important soft skills to coffee education. We’ll explore the interpersonal side of teaching—how to connect with learners through clear communication, body language, and emotional intelligence to create a welcoming and impactful learning environment.

This course is ideal for anyone looking to sharpen their instructional approach—whether you're leading in-house trainings or teaching public coffee classes. Expect a collaborative, supportive space where questions and feedback are encouraged throughout.

“Train-The-Trainer” is co-led by Tarra Samuelson, owner of Curated Coffee Consulting, and Julie Housh, specialty coffee professional. Together, they have over 20 years experience of teaching coffee in a retail and wholesale capacities, creating educational modules, and hosting lectures & workshops for the for the Specialty Coffee Association.
